I know that the news is out that the OSSBA has closed our building for the year. That does not mean we have stopped teaching.
The elementary teachers and I had our first virtual meeting and developed a plan. At this time, we will be delivering packets to you for your student beginning on April 6th. The packets will have the required assignments and then extra, which will be your choice to do. We know some of you are still working while trying to home school, we know some of you NEED things to do. Anything virtual will be for enrichment at this time. We live in rural areas, and we understand that sometimes an internet service is difficult to obtain. We will never leave a child out of the material they are required to know.
We are still working on how to deliver and pick up packets. The teachers are gathering supplies out of your child's desk. Some of the teachers are going to be contacting you to give them to your students from a safe distance. Others are asking to ride the school bus to transport packets and supplies; the teachers miss the kids. We will contact you via the internet or a phone call at a later date. It will be toward the end of next week when you begin hearing from them.
Please do not panic. We are a ClassDojo message, Remind message, or phone call away to answer questions and help you. I am at the school, and if you let the phone ring, it rolls over into my office. My cell phone is 918-397-5734. They are our kids too. We miss them, and we hate this, but nothing is worth the health of our loved ones. We can do this together.

Thank you,

Sherry Campbell
