Due to the potential hazardous driving conditions in the morning, Nowata Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 22nd. It will be a distance learning day.

Congratulations to our Lady Ironmen basketball team for coming up big at the NEO tournament! They beat Welch 49-23 and move forward in the winner's bracket to play tomorrow afternoon at 4:30pm!

Girls play today at noon at the college gym vs welch at NEO. Boys play tonight at 9:00 vs Fairland in the college gym also.
During the break, a pipe burst in the principal's office and caused some flooding to the main offices of the high school. Because of this the main doors will be closed and students must enter through the doors by the Superintendent's office and old gym.

Good afternoon, Folks. We’ve got some tricky weather patterns coming our way over the next few days, so I want to give you a heads up on what we are thinking. As of now, I don’t think tomorrow morning is going to be an issue. If we get more than what is expected, I will send out a text blast and make a Facebook post between 5:45 - 6:00am if we have to close school. We stand a better chance of having a distance learning day on Tuesday next week due to cold temperatures and/or snow. I should be able to make that decision by around 6:00pm on Monday evening so that you have more time to make childcare arrangements if needed. TS
Mrs. Scott's Zoology classes began their study of amphibians by examining the external anatomy of the frog....tomorrow they'll do the internal dissection!

Tuesday: HS Basketball at Home Vs Caney Valley KS. JV at 4:00. Varsity girls start at 6:00 PM followed by the boys
Thursday-Saturday: Chelsea Varsity Tournament. Thursday Boys play at 11:30AM. Girls play at 1:00PM.
