A Huge Congratulations to Jacob Horner from Nowata HS Choir. Jacob received a Superior Rating at OSSAA State Vocal Solo and Ensemble on his Baritone Solo today. Jacob represented Nowata Extremely Well and with Great Pride.

Sports News: Middle School baseball tomorrow is cancelled due to weather. Highschool baseball districts at Vian has been rescheduled to 1:00 Friday. And lastly the Sports Banquet for the HS athletes will be May 16 at Hillside Church. Will post more info about banquet later.

Mock Car Wreck Scene
This is an announcement that Nowata CAN along with Nowata Emergency First Responders are going to be performing an Every 15 Minutes MOCK car wreck scene. This will involve all emergency services including EMS, Fire, Police, and Air Evac. There will be mock tones, lights, sirens, and the wreck will be worked as if it were real. The event is for the high school students and will be taking place at the high school this Wednesday morning. The event should last about an hour.
The Ironmen and Lady Ironmen dominated at the Conference Track Meet at Dewey this week. We had a combined 17 athletes medal Jr High and High School with many receiving multiple medals. High school competes at the Regional meet on Saturday!

ART AND MUSIC
The Nowata Music Program will present their Band and Choir Spring Concert this evening at 7:00 pm in the MS Gym. Additionally the Nowata Art Classes have an Art Exhibition Show in the lobby of the MS Gym. We hope family and friends will join us for a night full of Art and Music at Nowata Public Schools.
*Band and Choir students need to report to the band room at 5:00 pm for warm up.

After Prom: Doors open at 12:00am. They will close and lock at 12:30am. You will not be let in once doors are shut. Do not forget to bring your waiver form, if you did not turn it in at school. Prizes will be given at the end, you must be present to win. After Prom ends at 4am.
The Ironmen Track Team had a huge day in Commerce this week and took home some hardware! Lady Ironmen had Gold in Pole Vault, Silver in Long jump, and Bronze in High Jump. Boys had Gold in Pole Vault, Silver in Discus, Bronze in the 4X100, 4X200, and 100m Dash. #IronSharpensIron
