**REMINDER**
Juniors will be taking the ACT Tuesday, April 9th. Please make sure students arrive to school by 8:00 in the morning prepared to test. They will be provided lunch after the test.
On April 9th, there will be a parent meeting for the incoming sixth grade students for the 2024-2025 school year. The meeting will be held at 6:00 pm, in the commons area. We will discuss middle school schedules and athletic coaches, along with the band/choir director, will be available for questions, as well. Hope to see you there!
On Saturday May 4th the high school art club will be hosting a fundraiser evening of painting in the high school cafeteria from 6:30 - 8:30. The theme is Summer Sandals and Sun. Canvases are 16" x 20" and cost is $25. Funds aid students travel to Kansas City

Congratulations to the Nowata HS Band on a job well done at OSSAA State Band Festival. The band received a Rating of Good on the stage and a rating of Excellence in Sight Reading. I am super proud of these kiddos and all the hard work they have put into contest season.

Mrs. Smith will have a meeting tomorrow evening in the commons area at 6:00 to answer questions and start the enrollment process for next year's incoming freshmen. Hope to see you there!

Come on out and watch the Ironmen baseball team take on the boys from Barnsdall. Started at noon but it's a double header! Go to the concession and say the phrase of the day for a free popcorn. Today's phrase is: "Coach J is awesome, now gimme some popcorn!"
Nowata was represented well today at the Varsity State Powerlifting Meet! 4 of the strongest athletes in the state competed at a high level and never disappointed!
