It’s been a long, messy week, folks. I’ve spoken with the Nowata PD twice today, and they have strongly advised us to remain out tomorrow because so many county roads and side streets are still such a mess. These decisions are never easy, but if I’m going to err, it’s going to be on the side of safety and caution. With that said, Nowata Public Schools will remain in distance learning tomorrow, Friday, February 21st. We’ll start fresh on Monday. Stay safe, everyone.

UPDATE!!
The regional basketball games scheduled for Friday will be moved to Saturday. The bracket for this week will be moved back again one more day and played on Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday.

Based on information from our local police department concerning the condition of many of our country roads and side streets and the dangerously low temperatures expected tomorrow morning, Nowata Public Schools will remain in distance learning on Thursday, February 20th. Parent /teacher conferences are also canceled and are rescheduled for next Thursday, February 27th.
