There are so many exciting things happening at NHS!
Testing will begin for the middle school this week! Parents, please help students remember to get a good night's sleep and breakfast before testing!
Mrs. Scott’s Anatomy and Physiology classes are studying the cardiovascular system! Today they dissected sheep hearts and compared the size and structure to deer hearts. They located the main arteries and veins associated with the heart, and identified all of the heart’s chambers. It was a good day for science!
SPRING CONCERT
The Nowata Music Program proudly presents our Spring Concert at 7:00 pm this evening in the MS Gym. The concert will feature our Winter Guard, Beginning Band, Middle School Band, Middle School Choir, High School Choir and High School Band. Make sure to come a little early so you can view the Art Exhibition that is in the hallway between the Lobby and MS Gym. All of this tonight is free. We hope you will come out and join us!!!!
Driver's Education courses will be offered during the school day in the 25-26 school year. Priority is given to older students first! If you are interested in your student enrolling, please sign up using the link below.

This week, NHS Juniors will be taking the state-required assessment for US history. We will be testing juniors on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please be on time and well rested, breakfast is always free. Students attending Tri-County will test in the afternoon session. It is going to be a great week!

Not a sound could be heard today at Nowata High School as the Journey of Hope presented the tragedy of the OKC Bombing. The architect of the memorial presented the symbolism and meaning of the design of the OKC Memorial.
Following their presentation, members of FFA and Student Council helped the US Forestry department plant a sapling from The Survivor Tree in front of Nowata Public Schools!
