Girls game update:
6pm start tonight in Hulbert. I would be there by 5:45
Coach Enloe will be in the new gym at 2:15pm with some extra tickets. Please stop by and get tickets if you want them. They will be handed out on a first come first serve basis.

Today between 1pm and 1:30 pm Coach Hollingshed will be in his office. We have some extra tickets for the boys game tomorrow. Please pick one up today from Coach if you want one. They will be handed out on a first come first serve basis. Go to the double black doors on the North East corner of the new gym to pick them up.
The girls and boys varsity basketball teams advanced in the regional tournament with victories yesterday. The girls play tonight at 6pm. Boys play tomorrow at 8pm in the regional finals. The girls must win today and tomorrow to advance to the area tournament. The boys will be playing in the area tournament next week. This weekends games are in Hulbert.

Homecoming Ceremony Announcement:
We will be having a homecoming ceremony at 2:45 on Wednesday, March 3rd . We will have all of the high school students attend. Those involved in the ceremony are welcome to invite six guests.
COVID update for basketball games at Hulbert. Games will not start early. The gym will be cleared between games for cleaning. Gates will open no later than fifteen minutes before game time. Masks are a requirement. The OSSAA has requested that we establish masks as a requirement so that there is no confusion at the state tournament. You may have your temperature taken at the door. Social distancing is expected.

We have 15 tickets available for the boys game tonight. If you would like one, please call Nowata High School at (918)273-2221. We will give them out on a first come first serve basis. You will pay for the ticket at the gate this evening.
Nowata Boys and Girls Club will be open this Friday, 02-26-2021. A $20 membership must be in place before the student can come, but it is good for the rest of the school year. If you have questions, please call 918-273-1007.
Sophomores will be taking the PRE ACT tomorrow. We will start as soon after the first hour bell rings as possible.
Tonights home games are the beginning of the state playoff process. We are allowed to have 762 total spectators in the gym based on the states COVID policy. The girls start at 6pm. The boys will start at 8pm. The boys game will not start early.
Masks will be mandatory.
Anyone 18 years old or under can pick up a free grab and go lunch today at the elementary school between 11am and noon.
Grab and go lunches will be available from 11-12 Friday, February 19 at the elementary school.
Nowata Public Schools will be closed Friday, February 19 due to extreme temperatures and poor road conditions. We are excited to return to school on Monday 21st. Have a safe warm weekend.
Nowata Public Schools will be handing out grab-and-go lunches tomorrow February 18th between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. Meal will consist of a breakfast and a lunch.
The sun helped clear most of the roads today, however the bus routes and city streets need to clear a little more to be safe. Thursday, February 18th will be another snow day. Stay safe!
