With great sorrow, I am informing you of the loss of one of our elementary teachers due to an illness. Our colleague and friend Bridget Taylor. Bridget has been a teacher in our district for seven years. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend.
The elementary school staff will be attending her funeral on Thursday, November 19, 2020. This day will be a virtual day for our students. Glenn C. Moore Elementary will resume school for in person learning on Friday, November 20, 2020.

Bridget Taylor's Celebration of Life will be this Thursday, November 19, at 2:00 pm at the outdoor pavilion at First United Methodist Church in Claremore. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, November 18, from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm at MMS Payne Funeral Home in Claremore, OK. The family will be there to greet visitors from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm. NSU Scholarship information
Northeastern State University is excited to announce we are continuing a scholarship opportunity for concurrently enrolled students that was piloted with last year’s graduating seniors.
Any concurrently enrolled senior taking classes at NSU during the fall or spring semester of their senior year is eligible to receive a $500 tuition waiver scholarship if they attend NSU as a full-time student for the 2021-22 academic year. This tuition waiver scholarship will waive up to $250 during the fall and spring semesters, for a total of $500. This scholarship can be combined with other tuition waiver scholarships students may be offered at NSU, up to the amount of their total tuition costs.
There is still time for students to take advantage of this opportunity! New concurrent students at NSU for the Spring 2021 semester will also be eligible for this award. Please let your students know about this opportunity and encourage them to apply for admission as a concurrent student as soon as possible here: https://apply.nsuok.edu
The Scholarship Office will be hosting an online application workshop on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 4 p.m. Please share with your students and have them register here.

The Junior High basketball programs will continue to practice during our virtual days. These practices are to keep our student athletes active and provide a better environment of personal growth and safety during virtual days for our student athletes. Participation in practices during virtual days is not mandatory. These practices are suggested through our athletics department, but no student will be punished in any way for not attending.
6th, 7th, & 8th Boys and 6th & 7th Girls - Tuesday Nov. 17th from 5:30 to 6:30, Thursday Nov. 19th from 5:30 to 6:30 and Tuesday Nov. 24th from 5:30 to 6:30.
8th Girls will be with the HS girls in practice and will receive their schedule through Coach Vann.
