COVID ATTENDANCE POLICY FOR BASKETBALL. Our policy is pending new guidelines coming down from federal, state or local authorities.
Masks are required.
If you purchased a season ticket, you will not be charged again at the door. We do have a few season tickets left, please email ghollingshed@npsok.org if you would like to purchase them.
If you have player passes, you will be asked to pay for that ticket at the gate on a game by game basis.
We have 50 tickets available for purchase at the gate on a first come first serve basis.
For Nowata fans who have season tickets or player tickets, your seats are assigned. Please ask Mr. Williams, Coach Hollingshed or Coach Johnston if you are not sure where your assigned seat is.
If you purchase one of the 50 tickets at the door, the top two rows on the home side are open for you. Pleas social distance yourselves.
The visiting team has been given 120 player coupons. Their administration will hand them out as they see fit. They will pay admission at the gate if they have an entry coupon. Visitors will sit on their side. We will require them to wear masks, and encourage them so social distance.
Thank you for being cooperative with us. Our primary concern is for player and fan safety. Hopefully we can continue to play basketball this season.
Seniors participating in Senior Day tomorrow please be in the New Gym at 12:10. Please make sure that you and those walking with you have a mask to wear before you walk onto the floor. In our line up, we will likely not be able to have the necessary social distancing so masks will be required. Once on the floor, wearing the mask is a decision that you and your family will make. I believe we can social distance well enough during the ceremony so masks will be optional for those involved. We will begin the ceremony at 12:30.
We will be hosting Dewey on 1-2-21 for Senior Day to be followed by varsity girls then varsity girls basketball. Senior Day will start at 12:30pm the Varsity Girls will start at 1pm.

Elementary School Parents,
Due to positive cases of COVID 19, exposures, and high absences in the elementary, we are pivoting to virtual learning. The pivot will begin tomorrow on December 9th, and continue until January 5th. Your student’s teacher will contact you with assignments for your student through ClassDojo. If the teacher needs to send items to the student, arrangements with the teacher will be made.
The middle school and high school will continue with in-person learning at this point.
We are certainly sorry to do this and understand the hardship on families. It has been a hard decision to make and one that has not been made lightly. The safety of the children is our utmost concern.
